If I only had a Brain...

Grammy Purcell made Rocco and Noah costumes from the Wizard of Oz this year...
Noah is the Tin Man and Rocco is the Scarecrow.
They think they're the Bee's knees in those costumes, it's pretty daRn cute to watch!

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

We took Rocco to the Pumpkin Patch on Friday (To celebrate Seth being all finished with testing....)

There were so many pumpkins to choose from...

Rocco picked the very best (and pretty daRn ugly) pumpkin he could find!

Then we went and saw the animals, Rocco loved the horses!

He made horse noises at them and got really excited when they were making them back...

But Rocco's most favorite part of the pumpkin patch was his pumpkin!

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy... SETH!

Seth is playing Football on Tuesday nights. Some of the other second year Med students and him are on a team and they play against the other years of med school students, dental students, and PT students...
Seth's team is horrible. They've been completely annihilated in both games so far..
But it's still LOTS of fun watching and cheering for "The Nerds", I mean, the "Opsonize This!" guys..
Rocco got a cone off the sidelines and was yelling for "GO! GO! GO!" into it like a little cheer leader.

Rocco was trying to get Seth's attention during one of their breaks and he was yelling "Daddy!" over and over again but Seth wasn't responding. Finally, at the top of his lungs, Rocco yelled "SETH!" and what do ya know? Seth turned around immediately! Oh Gee...
Now every time Rocco wants his Daddy's attention, he yells "Seth!"

Better pictures to come...
but for now:
We LOVE Football!

Juli HEARTS Seth 4ever...

Take it from a man who knew:
“The trick, my brethren and sisters, is to enjoy the journey, traveling hand in hand, in sunshine and storm, as companions who love one another."

Shhh! Shh! Shhh!

Cute Rocco Story...
So with me being so sick lately, Seth's Dad, when he can, will take Rocco for a couple hours during the day. Tuesday was one of those days when he was able to take him, and the funniest thing happened...
Pampa (Grandpa Fred) took Rocco and Noah to McDonalds to get happy meals for lunch. Then he put both boys in their car seats in the back and put the bags of food down in between them. He told them they could eat it when they got back to the house. Well he starts driving home and Noah starts yelling about something and he hears Rocco saying
"Shhhh! Shh! Shhh!"
And then Noah yelled some more and again Rocco said
"Shhhh! Shh! Shhh!"
So when he gets to stop light he turns back and Rocco had gotten his arms out of his seat restraint and gotten a hold of his kids meal and was stuffing French Fries and Chicken Nuggets in his mouth as fast as he could before he got caught!

Potty First

Occasionally over the past couple weeks, or months, we've been trying to get Rocco to go Potty on the Toilet. But he always climbs off his little seat on goes on the floor instead...
Well, Yesterday Morning he FINALLY went on the toilet!!! Or more accurately, he went All Over the toilet!!! I put him on his seat and he started whizzing right away, he didn't have time or know how to aim...
But Who Cares?! Rocco went Potty on the Toilet!!!

New Due Date

Well we went to the Doc again this week and it turns out we are due May 21st now, instead of April... Shucks! I was hoping I was further along than that... I was hoping I was almost done with the first trimester...
Anyone got any good ways to deal with big time all day morning sickness that makes you throw up constantly? I'll try just about anything right now!!!

Oh No!!!

Cute Rocco Story...

This morning I had Rocco in his high chair eating breakfast when a big wave of morning sickness hit me. I ran into the bathroom and was unloading everything I'd eaten in the last 12 hours into the sink. I heard Rocco yell
"OH NO!"
I figured he must have spilled something or dropped some food on the floor or something, but a couple seconds later he came tearing into the bathroom, and started rubbing my back and saying
"It's okay Mommy, It's okay..."
When I finally stopped puking he looked at me with a worried face and said
"You Okay?"
It was so cute and special!

I just have to say that I have the most wonderful baby boy in the entire world. He climbed off his high chair, onto the table and down to the floor to come and make sure I was okay...
I love my Rocco.
