God blessed Texas

There's a song that's totally awesome, it goes like this:

God blessed Texas with His own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave 'em a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance
I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas

First He lit sunshine
Then He made the waters deep
Then He gave us moonlight
For all the world to see
Well everybody knows that the Lord works in mysterious ways
He took a rest then on the very next day

God blessed Texas with His own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave 'em a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance
I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas

God blessed Texas with His own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave 'em a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance
Well I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas

AGREED!

Austin Bat Show

In Austin there are about a Bajillion Bats that live under the congress bridge. They come out every evening at dusk and it's a great show to watch. We decided we absolutely had to bring Rocco to see these bats before leaving Texas. We found this nice little walking trail that had a bunch of people sitting on benches on the side of it, so we figured we were at the right spot. We found a bench and waited and waited for the bats but we never saw them. Then I asked someone and they said you couldn't see the bats from our location. We jumped in the car and drove straight to the bridge. Turned out there are hardly any bats there anymore because most of them had to migrate to find food due to the drought. But we did see some bats and Rocco LOVED it! Then we saw the BIG (fake) bat and Rocco was more than satisfied! Rocco picked me this Beautiful flower to say thank you for such a fun night.

Painting Fun...

Rocco, ZeeZee, and I spent one of our last days in Belton painting wood and playing in water...

Belton, Texas

Welcome to the city of Belton Texas!
It's hard for me to explain why we love Belton Texas sooo much. Belton did not seem like a place that either Seth or I would normally be drawn to as it is such a small place and has that old small town feel to it. But we LOVED it!
Belton has lots of fun themed parks for the kids to enjoy. It has lots of walking trails and safe animal wildlife. Belton has so much neat history surrounding it and so many fun little shops that are true gems in this world! We truly loved Belton. I would move there in a heartbeat...
