Christmas morning Jade (Seth's sister) had her baby...

Presenting Baby Luke!:

Everyone enjoyed holding him when he was able to come home...

They named him "Luke 'Fred' Vaiaoga"
Which made Grampa Freddy's day!
Due to Luke's birth, Christmas as Gma and Gpa Purcell's house was postponed until Jade and Luke could come home from the hospital...

Rocco thought that was great: Two days of Christmas!!!

Christmas Decor

This year we were determined to make our house look festive!

I made a wreath for our door...

I got this awesome Snowman (Rocco loves pulling on his legs!) at Tai Pan Trading (love that place!) for way cheap!

We set up Santa pictures and our Santa village...

And last but not least, we decorated our Christmas Tree!

Next year we need to get ourselves a Nativity, because that's the most important Christmas Decoration of all...

Christmas Morning was a fun one at our house, Santa left Rocco such fun things...

Santa left some fun stuff for Daddy (Seth) and Mommy (JuLi) too...

This year Rocco actually enjoyed opening presents! It really was so cute to watch.

After all the presents had been open, our living room looked like it had been hit by a tornado! But Rocco has been playing with his presents non-stop since, so it was worth it...

Sugar Cookie Fun!

Yesterday, Rocco and I went to our friend's house to play and decorate Christmas Cookies! It was such a fun day and a great thing to do when you can't go outside cuz of the rain...

Rocco and Brookie both enjoyed decorating the cookies!

Rocco and Brookie both LOVED eating the decorations (mini M&Ms) and the cookies!

Of course it couldn't be a fun activity if we didn't play cars too... Rocco used his cookies as jumps for his cars!

Both kids were very creative with their designs ;-P

All in all it was super fun day! We are gonna have to make cookie decorating a tradition!!!

Rain, Rain, Go Away...

Rocco and the Rain story...

This morning when Rocco woke up he really wanted to go to the park. I told him we couldn't because it was raining outside and we would get all cold and wet. Rocco ran to the kitchen and looked out the window at the rain... He got mad at the rain and started yelling

"Stop Rain! GO AWAY RIGHT NOW RAIN!!!"

It usually makes me sad if Rocco gets mad and yells about something, but this was just too cute. He sat at the window and told the rain to go away cuz he wanted to go to the park for about ten minutes, until I dragged him away for breakfast... I love my son!

Luckily some friends invited Rocco and me to come decorate cookies with them, and that was just as fun as the park! Pictures to follow soon...

Christmas Card Designs for 2009

This past week I've been trying to get my "Creative Juices" to flow as I created my BP 2009 Holiday Greeting Card Designs. I took inspiration from some of my favorite designers, some of my favorite polka dot and paisley print patterns, and some of my inspiration for these designs were just random thoughts that popped in and out of my head until something was created from it....
I have twelve designs in all now, I'm hoping that's enough to generate business, but we'll see. I've posted all the designs on my photo blog

And now I'm just wanting the opinions of my friends and family... Any Cards you think I should get rid of? Any thing on one of them that just doesn't seem to work? Changes you would want if it was your family...?

I'm Thankful for... THANKSGIVING! and firetrucks!!!

This year for Thanksgiving, Grandpa Freddy was working, so we got to go spend the day at the LA fire station with him!

Rocco and Cousin Noah were so excited to see the firetrucks and play on them!

Grandpa was excited to show his boys his toys!!!

Rocco got to climb up inside the firetrucks! He thought he was cool stuff! We couldn't get him to come out...

(The firefighters rented a bouncy house for the kids to play in, but Rocco was only interested in the firetrucks...)

Then Grandpa took us on a ride around LA in the firetruck, with the sirens on! Rocco thought he had died and gone to Heaven...!

and although car rides make me real sick these days, even I enjoyed the firetruck ride!

Grampa Freddy was so happy to spend the day showing off his truck to Rocco! And Rocco was even more excited than Grampa to be spending the day with the truck....

But even a firetruck can't stop Rocco from doing his favorite past time... yep!, that's right, Rocco's new favorite thing to do is to pick his nose! It's disgusting and cute all at the same time...

Before we left we all got a Purcell Family picture together; We were missing Elder Sammy!, but I'm sure he was in everyone's heart...

After leaving the fire station, we went and drove around Hollywood.

And last, but certainly not least, we went over and saw the lights at the LA temple! The were Beautiful!!!

Even the trees leaves were red and green to celebrate the season...
