Pumpkin Patch Fun

A couple weekends ago, before Halloween, my sister Rachael and her family came to play for a day! We went to the Pumpkin Patch!
Rocco and Zeegan had so much fun with their cousins; Dillan, Lexi, and Derrick. They climbed haystacks, bumper balled, ate yummy kettle corn, licked fabulous popsicles and just ran around together... it was lots of fun! The Bumper balls were especially hilarious (They put the kids in the middle of these giant blown up balls and then let them run into each other! Kind of like bumper cars, but inside big balls instead...)! That day was a fun one...

Rocco was especially lucky this year though, because he got to go again a couple days later with his school class! It was raining almost the entire time, which I didn't particularly enjoy, but Rocco and Zeegan loved every second of it!
The school children got to go through a hay maze, and pick their very own pumpkins, and see a whole bunch of animals. They got to feed Llamas, Rocco threw the feed in the Llama's face and ran away as fast as his little legs could carry him, he was terrified! And after all that fun, they got to eat a yummy snack and show off their pumpkins to one another... such a fun day!

Mario Mustache Mania

A couple weekends ago Rocco went to a Mario and Princess Peach Birthday Party (SO MUCH FUN!!!), and at that birthday party, he was given a Mario mustache, which he thoroughly enjoys!!! In fact, the whole family has been enjoying it...

Belated Anniversary

This year for our Anniversary (back in August), Seth gave me tickets to go see Phantom of the Opera at Pantages theatre. And a couple weekends ago, we went! It was such a fun night! (Well except for the part where I was stressing about ZZ most the night...)
First we went out to eat at this lovely restaurant where the food was absolutely divine! I don't think I've ever eaten anything so deliciously incredible in my entire life! Nor am I likely to eat anything that scruptulescent again, until Seth is a doctor...
After our fabulous dinner we went to Pantages theatre and saw Phantom. To be honest, I think the music in the recent movie version of Phantom of the Opera was 10 times better, but it was so fun seeing it acted out live! and for the first time I realized the Phantom is a bit of a perv. I mean, when watching the movie I think of him as a broken-hearted disfigured fellow with a song inside and a bit of a nasty temper. But in this play the character of the Phantom (any maybe it was just the actor...) was portrayed as a murderous monster-like pervert! Interesting...
Overall, it was such a fun night! and the first real date Seth and I have been on in years! I LOVE you Seth! Thanks for taking me!!!

Sister Sister....

Warning: Here comes alot of non-makeup photos!

So a couple weekends ago, all but one of my sisters came on a "Sisters Trip" to California! Part of the trip was at my house! We all had so much fun! Hot Tubbing, Eating, Talking, Eating, Making Crazy Music Videos, and Shopping!!! I'm so glad they all came to visit me I was missing them. I was glad Taylor (my brother's girlfriend) was able to come along as well, because it made the whole thing that much funner! I will have to post the music video so all can see us act like crazy hooligans!!!

Constipated Alma

Funny (to me) Rocco Story
So when we read scriptures at night we like to have Rocco "help", so usually Seth will say a couple words and then Rocco will repeat it... Saturday night we were reading Alma chapter 5 and when we got to verse 3, this is what I heard:

"I, Alma,"
"I Yalma"
"Having been consecrated"
"Having been Constipated"

I love my Rocco. He really does make life so much fun at our house!

Berry Picking

We recently went up to the 'mountains' with a couple friends of ours to a place called 'Riley Farms' where you can pick berries, apples, pumpkins, watermelons, flowers, etc... It was so much fun! Once we parked, we got to ride on a trailer covered in hay bales, that was being pulled by a tractor (they call it a hayride). That was Rocco's favorite part of the whole day! Then we went and picked our berries (It was so hot, but still SOOOOO much FUN!). I think we ate as many as we put in our berry container, they were seriously so good we couldn't stop ourselves! Rocco was at first picking them and putting them in the basket, but then I told him to taste one, and after that, even though he was picking as many as Seth and I, he didn't stick another berry in the basket, because they were all going directly into his mouth! Once we finished picking our berries out in the hot hot sun we got fresh watermelon samples that were so yummy and so refreshing! Rocco's friend Brighton was so dirty, but it was seriously adorable! I think everyone enjoyed themselves- including ZeeZee!, She was all smiles the entire day. I think she loves being outside and she especially loves it when Daddy's with us! Seth and I ate all the berries before we finished the drive down the 'mountain', they were just so good we couldn't help ourselves! And after all that berry picking and hay-riding in the sun, we went swimming to cool off.... so much fun!

Labor Weekend

So I know I'm about a month late in posting this, but life's been busy and I haven't gotten to it until now...
Labor Day Weekend Saturday, we went to the beach! It was delightfully dreary. Delightful because we walked along the boardwalk and enjoyed a cool breeze. Dreary because it was too overcast and chilly to actually enjoy playing on the beach in the sand and water. But we still managed to enjoy ourselves thoroughly!, it really is nice just being able to spend time together as a family... After the beach went to the the Whole Foods market down near Newport and got Rocco an awesome cupcake he insisted he needed. That night when he tried the cupcake he loved the frosting frog eyes so much his eyes were rolling back in his head! He was so excited to eat a frog! Maybe he'll serve his mission in France when he grows up and can eat fine french frog cuisine all the time!
Sunday was nice. We went to church, ate dinner at Seth's family's house, and then came home and played games together... Rocco loves his new counting game!
Monday we spent with the Petersen Family. It was a blast! We all swam and ate yummy food and even Zeegan loved every bit of it(I think because she loves it when everyone is paying attention to her and giving her kisses...)! and to top it all off we were able to celebrate three family member's birthdays! Loads of awesomeness! I We LOVE Holidays!

Zeegan 4 months

Zeegan is 4+ months old now! We LOVE her so much!!! She is seriously so dang cute! Some fun things about her these days:
*ZeeZee has recently started Giggling! It is the cutest noise you'll ever hear! We (Seth, Rocco, and Me) run around doing crazy things and making crazy noises and basically being crazy heads, trying to get her to laugh, and when she does laugh; it's worth all the craziness!!!
*Zeegan ADORES Rocco. No kidding she LOVES her big brother! and he loves her! She is constantly following his every move with her eyes. I can't feed her if he's around because if she hears him she is trying to see him...
*Zeegan is a little Social Butterfly! She LOVES attention! She loves when people grin and talk to her and she Blabs back! and if she's trying to talk and you don't seem to be paying attention, she starts yelling or fake coughing until you pay attention... Rocco is the cutes when she's blabbing away, he sits next to her and says things like "Oh really?!" and "Tell me more!" and if you ask him what she's saying he'll usually make something rather interesting up (apparently Zeegan talks about Cars and Dump Trucks and Fire Trucks ALL the time!)...
*Zeegan is rolling over! 5 or 6 times a night I will go in her room and turn her back on her back. She prefers sleeping on her stomach. But the funny thing is, when we attempt to do "tummy time" she turns herself over on her back...
*Zeegan has the most sparkly eyes! I think the endearing term "Bright Eyes" fits her perfectly! When she smiles, she lights up the room! and although her little toothless mouth is adorable, I htink it's her eyes that do the trick... and she is starting to smile ALL the time! especially when she's just woken up from a nap, then she's all smiles!
*Zeegan's a bit of a Cat-napper during the day. Especially when Rocco is home- either because he's too noisy or because she's afraid she's gonna miss out on all the fun... But she's begining to sleep for longer stretches (6-7 hours) during the night!
*Zeegan is a MAJOR finger sucker! She loves her hands! She constantly has a finger in her mouth, and even though I know dentally it's not a good thing... When she sucks her thumb: it is the CUTEST thing ever! I don't know if I've ever seen anything so adorable!
*Zeegan is a Drool-Queen! No joke, she soaks through multiple outfits a day! Good thing I love dressing her up so much...
*Zeegan has started reaching for things and playing with little toys. She LOVES her 'Love Rattle' that Rocco picked out at 'The Red Store' (Target).
*ZeeZee is a Water Baby! She LOVES bath time and she LOVES swimming! She definitely fits in our family...
*ZeeZee has CRAZY hair! There's lots of it, but it's all different lengths and it sticks out at all angles, no matter how I comb it...
*Zeegan LOVES clothes! I know she seems to young to care either way, but I swear she gets excited about new clothes and shoes and bows and such! She wore her first pair of jeans the other day and she was seriously smiling from ear to ear (granted that could be because she was getting so much attention cuz she looked so daRn cute!). THen we pulled out a new pair of purple shoes and she actually giggled at the sight of them! No Kidding... My Baby Girlie is a Girlie Girl already!
*We LOVE and are so grateful for, Zeegan!

First Day of School

Rocco started Preschool recently (my baby boy is growing up so fast!). He was so cute on his first day of school, with his little name tag on and his backpack!
Rocco's teacher's name is Mrs. Bom. Rocco calls her "Mister BUM". I don't think she appreciates that very much, but no matter how I try he refuses to refer to her as a Mrs instead of a Mister and he refuses to say Bom, rather than Bum.. Personally, I think it's adorable!
We had a tough time getting him to stay the first couple of times (separation anxiety to the max), but now he loves it! He loves the finger painting and the story books and snack time, but his most favorite of all, is the train! The playground has a wooden box train and he sits in it every Tuesday and Thursday morning as soon as we get to school! he calls it his train and gets a little upset when the other kids climb on it...
Rocco loves that he goes to school "Like Daddy!" and he especially loves that his school his "cooler" than Daddy's because his school has a slide!
I'm so happy he loves school and even though I miss him those morning two days a week, it's nice having a little break to get the house picked up, get some exercise and play with Zeegan! and I love that he's becoming more talkative and friendly around other adults now.

4 Years down, Infinity to Go...

4 Years Down, Infinity to Go...

A couple weeks ago, Seth and I had our four years (of marriage) Anniversary! It seems like we've been together a whole lot longer than that, and yet, I can still remember the first time I met him like it was yesterday...
For our Anniversary, our whole little family went out to eat at Macaroni Grill (it's Rocco's favorite "fancy" restaurant because you can color on the table), and then went and read story books and cook books together at Barnes and Noble... I know that may not seem like the best anniversary, but it was wonderful! We LOVE spending time together as a family!, We love reading storybooks to Rocco!, and We LOVE cooking together! So it was the perfect way to celebrate our family...
In a couple weeks Seth is taking me to see "Phantom of the Opera" to celebrate us... I'm so super excited I can hardly stand it!!!
