Seth finally got his first vacation since residency began! and it was much needed. We spent the first day of vacation at the Waco Zoo. Which it turns out is an awesome Zoo! The kid's especially loved it!
(Right after this picture was taken a bird pooped on ZZ's jacket and she refused to wear it for the next couple hours until she was freezing and we convinced her no more birds would poop on her...)
There was about an inch of glass keeping this lion from eating us alive! it was really upset at us for some reason. Kind of scary, but also REALLY awesome to be that up close and personal; we could literally see down this fella's throat!!!
The elephants smelled SOOO bad! Rocco and ZZ spent about a milli-second looking at them and then ran away because of the stink.
At a Zoo full of amazing animals that you can get extremely close to and what do you think their favorite part of the day was? Yeah, that's right, the playground by the bathrooms.
This little slide was really quite neat because it went through the otter tank, so the kids had otters swimming around them in circles as the slid down. ZZ got a little freaked out by it but Rocco totally loved it :).
Go Cougars! lol.
Rocco loved all the neat fish in the aquariums. ZZ would've loved it, but she was too busy plugging her ears because she didn't like the classical music playing... haha! the girl loves her country and her princess music and her adele and that's it apparently.
Fun, Fun, Fun Day!!!
We had so much fun that the day after Seth's vacation ended I took the kids back for another day at the zoo...
