Zippy- our Elf on the Shelf

Pottery Barn kids in Mission Viejo did this fun Story time where the story book lady read the Elf on the Shelf story and then let the kids find the hiding elf, and get an elf coloring page.
I took the kids down to the story reading and activity day. My new friend Rachel came with me and we met my great friend Lauren and her daughter Makenna and her Mother at the mall. The kids had a bunch of fun playing in the play area at Pottery barn and Rocco got introduced to the Elf on the SHelf, so when he showed up at our house; Rocco already knew who he was!

Our elf showed up with a "North Pole Breakfast". THe kids absolutely LOVED it! They each got a note from "Zippy" (the name we chose for our Elf), telling them to be good and listen to Mommy and Daddy if they wanted their special gifts for Christmas. He brought the kids favorite treats and he came with the Elf on the Shelf book which Daddy Seth read to us. We were reminded not to touch Zippy at all or else he would lose his magics... The kids LOVED having their North Pole breakfast and were so excited that Santa sent an elf to our house.

Zeegan learned the name "Zippy" real fast. She excitedly yelled for Zippy every morning while she searched the house for him. Our elf was a little bit of a naughty elf and sometimes we found him up to all sorts of mischief... LoL!

Our last time seeing Zippy. He brought us "The Night Before Christmas" pop-up book, on the night before Christmas...
Goodbye Zippy! We'll see you next year!
(I'm sooo happy we started this tradition! I think it will bring sooo many fun memories for our family for years to come!!!)
