Austin Children's Museum

The city of Austin has a Children's museum (that I think they should call a children's discovery center, since it's all hands on stuff...). Miss Debbie told us her grandkids love the museum, so we took a Saturday and went to Austin to have lots of fun with our kids! We went to one of the trailer restaurants in Austin and enjoyed some weird but YUMMY cone sandwiches and fries.
Then we walked around and explored a little. Austin city it seems has gone Dutch and has painted cows all over the city (they have the same thing in Holland), that Rocco LOVED! Rocco especially went a little nuts over the Bat-Cow by the Museum!
Inside the museum the kids got to build some fun space crafts for their room. They got to learn how to milk cows and watch the milk go to the "dairy machines". They got to start a train and watch it run its course around the entire top of the museum. They got to go to story time. Rocco got to build a car and a parachute. Zeegan got to play in the Toddler area with her size toys and slides and crafts and fun stuff!
After all our fun in the museum we hit up Amy's Ice Cream shoppe and then headed home to out Texas house...
it was a GREAT day!!!
