At the end of our first week in Texas, Grampa Freddy and Uncle Lance flew out and we all went to the BYU vs Texas football game! It was a blast. It was the first BYU game I remember going to. Before the game we went to the Cougars "Tailgate" party. They served Texas style BBQ. I LOVE BBQ!!!! Rocco, Zeegan and I got our faces painted to show our true blue spirit. Then we headed over to the stadium. It was SUCH a HOT day!!! We got to the stadium early, so while Grampa, Lance and Rocco went inside to get drinks and find our seats; Seth, Zeegan, and I stayed outside of the stadium on the lawn in the shade with a bunch of other BYU fans...
The game was SOOOOO fun! BYU lost. But, Texas is totally awesome. The game was a blast, the music was fun, and I didn't hear a single four letter (bad) word, the entire game!
Rocco got a bit confused over which team he was cheering for. He liked the team that had the cow with the big horns! LOL...
(little side note: after Grampa and Lance left the next morning, Rocco and Zeegan really missed them. Rocco kept asking for them to just come back so we could go see more football. I told Rocco that Lance had to go home cuz he had to go to work and Rocco said "Just call him and tell him to come over AFTER work!" and ZeeZee walked around the house calling for Grampa every morning for the week...)
