Just before Christmas break, Rocco's play school put on a school Christmas program. The night before the program Rocco had knocked a clock off the wall and cut his head open (see * note at bottom of this post for full story). Rocco's head was apparently still hurting him. So he REFUSED to smile or sing along with the Christmas songs (which is sad because he'd been practicing them for weeks). He just stood up on the little stage and glared at anyone who glanced his way... it was kind of funny! but really sad. Throughout the program he only smiled once- and that was when he saw his daddy; but it quickly changed back to a frown. At the very end of the program Uncle Sammy came over from Theron's Custard shop next door, to see him, and thats when we finally got some real smiles from him... what a pill.
We sure love you Rocco!

Oh poor rocco. How sad about his head. And sad you didn't get to see him activly participating in his Christmas program...:( next year.

At least he makes cute scowls, right? What a funny little guy.
He is so cute. That scowl is very familiar looking from my boys when they have to be in front of people. Very cute!!
